From Blix's Bandcamp: "Do to some health issues with Vermin aka the drummer of Blix, this is mostly a solo album. This album marks 20 years of the project Blix!!!Awakened by Bombs 2022 BLIX (mostly solo) - Album started off before the war in Ukraine, every song written after the start of the war is pretty much about that. I experimented on different vocal styles throughout (some of the songs are all over the board when it comes to that- even the Tom Waits influence comes out of me on some parts- other influences- Lemmy, mike patton, venom dude (my mind is drawing a blank, Robert smith, tom warrior, peter steel, trent reznor, David Bowie (all huge influence in my clean vocs) those are a few influences i could pick out after listening to it anyways. (I am not nearly as good) As far as the music, been listening to more doom lately so this album has some doom riffs throughout the sea of black metal- even some rockin roll punk stuff going on- Oh yeah- Synth too- Had a blast doing this one, i have been working on my mixing capabilities, and should only get better as i experiment. Hell, next album may not even be metal- but that would just be wrong- Hope you fucks enjoy this chaos of my head- I love doing it, it keeps me sane and alive. The cover art is from a show around 2005, this album will be mastered by Nick Peterson @Track and Field Studio- to be released under Blasphemous Mockery Productions at a later date on cassette- cover art will most likely change as well- 50 percent of all online sales of this album will go to Ukraine relief families in need. official bandcamp release 5/17/22"
