Cranial - Alternate Endings CS

Würzburg quartet, Cranial rose from the ashes of instrumental heavyweights Omega Massif and anyone who misses that band will find ample solace in the sonic onslaught that Cranial deliver. With two releases to their name, 2015’s “Dead End” EP consisting of two epic compositions that married the weighty post metal of early Pelican to the hefty crunch of Mastodon’s “Remission” and 2017 “Dark Towers/Bright Lights” the band not only hone their Earth-shattering attack but expanded the scope of their music to galactic levels of grandeur.

On September 27th 2019 Cranial will release their sophomore album “Alternate Endings" via Moment of Collapse Records (CD//LP), Sludgelord Records & Hand of Death Records (Cassette) once again pushing the boundaries of heavy music with their relentless riff offensive and churning out a constant flow of thick sludge. Cranial’s take a genre that now often sounds slick and safe and strip it back to its raw essence to make it furious and alive once more.

Recorded at Ghost City Recordings and mastered by Magnus Lindberg (Cult of Luna), “Alternative Endings” is poised to blow your mind with its dark intensity.
